With feature requests now in place, general opinions or constructive feedback won’t be posted here and will likely be removed. A Feature Request can include your thoughts or feelings, but it needs to be a detailed idea with enough information for us to review and consider. Why does my request need to be approved? To keep this section focused on actual Feature Requests, we review each post before it goes out. If your post is more about general feedback rather than a specific feature idea, we’ll direct you to our feedback surveys instead. These surveys are the best place for sharing opinions, whether positive or negative. How do I know if my feature request is not feedback or an opinion? Feature Requests: This section is for detailed, well-thought out ideas that explain what you want added or changed and how it should work. ✅ “Event mobs spawn too slowly. Maybe they could have a faster respawn timer or appear in…?” ✅ “A new type of Golem would be cool! Here’s how a Diamond Golem could work…” ❌ “Finding event mobs is annoying.” → This belongs in a survey! Feedback: For general feedback, opinions, or constructive criticism, basically, if it’s about how something feels rather than a specific idea for a new feature. Event Surveys → Thoughts on active events while they’re running and after they end. ✅ “The event shop prices feel too high for the amount of grinding needed.” ✅ “The event boss was fun, but the timer and health felt too short.” General Surveys → Ongoing feedback on different parts of the game. ✅ “I don’t use the badger system much because the rewards aren’t worth it.” Feature Request Submission Guidelines When suggesting a new feature, please keep in mind: Be detailed - The more context you provide, the better we can understand your idea. Be specific - Vague suggestions make knowing exactly what you want harder. Provide examples if possible - This helps us visualize the feature. The more information you share, the better we can process your request and decide if it’s something we can add. Disclaimer Feature requests that are unclear, lack enough detail or are made as jokes will be removed. Please make sure your requests are clear and well explained to help us understand your idea. A high number of votes does not guarantee that a request will be approved or implemented.

Being able to view your realm as a role
If your making a realm for others, you can view it as a role and basically it allows you to only do what that rank can do. i think maybe a /realm command like : /realm view Visitor (only able to do visitor stuff) /realm view Resident (resident stuff) /realm view Trusted (yea) /realm view Owner (reverts back to owner) it would maybe have like a popup on the top middle of the screen when in your realm saying “You are currently viewing your realm as Visitor (idk)“ it wouldnt say that if your viewing it as owner

Add certain 'fragile' blocks to lootpools
As of now, certain blocks important to building are currently impossible to obtain or are permanently lost in realms when broken. One such example is the budding amethyst block. While you could argue amethyst is accessible through deep dark or geodes visible from the surface of an ocean, geodes already exist in realms. However, due to the nature of the blocks, it is very risky to mine or move them (as well as the amethyst around them) due to their ‘fragile’ status.

You can steal items from people with rats....
Because rats have the feature of being able to hold items in their mouth lots of people use this intended feature to do things like show off items. But if you drop a food item on the ground and a rat goes near it, it will pick up the food by dropping the current item and it has to eat the food. Because of this you can go into any realm, member or not and drop a food item like cooked pork chops for example by a rat. Eventually if the rat goes on top of the food it will pick it up and drop its current item which you can then easily pick up. So because of all this anyone can steal items that a player has a rat in their realm holding.

Spawn servers problem solution
The spawn feels much emptier now, and that makes the whole server feel less multiplayer. You don't run into as many players as you used to. I'd love to see the solution Wynncraft went with: player ghosts. The server projects "ghosts" of players who are actually on other servers, so the world feels populated even though everyone's spread across instances. It's way lighter on the server than actually stuffing that many real players into one instance, and Wynncraft lets each player choose how many ghosts to render (none, low, medium, high, all) so anyone on a weaker machine can dial it back. Would love to see something like this on OR.

Add the missing paintings
Sketchy sells all custom paintings (minus admin and event) except 2 bo-bomb march and nurse orbit. I have asked many staff about the reason for this and the only answer I received was it simply wasn't added to the cycle when the paintings were moved over to sketchy so I think it's time to finally add them to the cycle and make them obtainable.

Animated ui elements
Given there’s a bigger team and more resources I feel like elements like the ui could have a few little animations to make it more satisfying. . Ruby counter animation Looping Ruby counter Whenever player gains rubies this little animation could play and it would loop depending on how many rubies the player has received. I’m not 100% sure if that’s possible but it would be cool if the number or rubies went up smoothly aswell. . Badger task complete . Ruby counter animation inspired by MCCI

Automated Player Shops in Realms
A big part of OR’s economy has always been player trading, with realm shops and all kinds of items being sold across the server. Unfortunately, there is currently no good way to have an automated item shop in a realm without many compromises. Many servers have a chest/sign shop system, but I think OR could do something much more sophisticated. My proposal is to introduce a new block called a “Shop Pedestal” or something similar. It would only be placable in realms, and once placed in a realm, it would only be breakable by the person who placed it and the realm owner. There would be several important features that this Shop Pedestal would have: The Shop Pedestal would have a GUI when right-clicked. For the “owner” of the shop pedestal, the person who placed it, this would be a GUI where you could input an item to be bought/sold, as well as an option to set the buy/sell price, as well as being able to individually enable/disable both buying and selling of the item. The shop owner would also be able to specify an amount of that item to be bought/sold at once, up to the item's maximum stack size. The Shop Pedestal would have a fake floating item on top to indicate what item is being bought/sold, as well as the name of the item. This would allow players in a realm with many shop pedestals to find what they are looking for quickly. For any player who is not the owner of the Shop Pedestal, right-clicking the block would show a buy/sell GUI, with buttons to buy/sell various quantities of the specified item, as long as buying/selling is enabled for that Shop Pedestal. Buying items from a Shop pedestal would remove items from its inventory (more on this in a moment), and the spent rubies would be sent to the owner’s ruby balance. Selling items would subtract rubies from the shop owner’s balance, giving them to the selling player, and the shop items would be added to the shop pedestal's inventory. In order to combat inflation on the server, Shop Pedestals could have a built-in ruby tax. My proposal is a 1% ruby tax per transaction, rounded down but with a minimum of 1 ruby (similar to AH’s 25 ruby minimum). Shop Pedestals would have an inventory that would consist of just one slot. That slot would be able to hold a large amount of any item, regardless of that item’s maximum stack size. The shop owner would be able to input items into and remove items from this slot, and this slot would be used for buying/selling items. This is to prevent shop stock from being capped by the size of a chest. Additionally, shop pedestals would support hoppers, with hoppers pointing into a shop pedestal inserting items, and hoppers under the shop pedestal removing items. To prevent shop pedestals from being used as a general storage solution, I believe they should have a relatively expensive crafting recipe. My proposal is 5x platinum in an X-shape, a ruby block in the top slot, and a chest in the bottom slot. When items are bought/sold while the owner is offline, the server should keep track of the amount of bought/sold items and rubies, and upon logging in, the owner should see a summary of how many items/rubies were bought/sold, similar to AH. It would also be cool if shop pedestals kept track of their transaction history, which was viewable by the shop owner. I think a server as sophisticated as Origin Realms needs an equally sophisticat

Fabricks furniture store is in need of some changes
Waiting for furniture to be available in Fabrick’s is an absolute pain. There are times i have to wait hours for the furniture I need to be in rotation. If more stuff gets added to fabricks (hopefully one day, its been over 2.5 years since any non-event stuff was added to it) without this issue being addressed, it would become even more apparent. Scoro had the idea that there should be a catalogue at one of the store owner NPC’s, a menu where all the furniture is always available to buy. You can still go into the store to see how some stuff looks placed down, but you won’t have to wait hours and pray for the specific furniture you need to be brought into rotation. With this change, more stuff could be added to fabrick’s without having to design a ton of new layouts or configs (such as moving some of the smaller crate items to fabricks, or the spawn museum unobtainable furnitures, or the other various spawn unobtainables shown below)

Realms right now have behind the boarders can look kinda ugly I think having the edge of realms be just void instead of terrain would look a lot better then having a bit of your realm locked behind boarders. Maybe at least the choice to have the edge be void would be nice
