Making it possible to spawnproof against swets

No matter how much the area is lit up, these guys will still spawn. I understand that the team wants them to spawn during the day, but would it be possible for them to only specifically ignore sky light? That way they’ll spawn anywhere regardless of time of day, but won’t spawn anywhere that a player lights up.

If that isnt possible, would it be possible to make them only spawn on natural blocks (aether grass, aether dirt, packed aether dirt, regular holystone)
