All Nether Biomes Listed As 'minecraft:nether_wastes' in F3 Menu?

Bug Reports

IGN: iiYeetingKem

Issue: Didn't see this issue posted yet. I figured I'd bring light to it if it hasn't already been acknowledged. In the screenshot attached, you can clearly see that I'm in a Crimson Forest biome (in an open world nether), but my F3 menu says I'm in a Nether Wastes. I did test the other biomes, and they all say 'minecraft:nether_wastes' in the F3 menu. Biome-specific things such as the Basalt Delta ash particles, endermen spawning in the Warped Forest, and biome-specific fog colors don't appear. It seems to affect all the open worlds, but I haven’t tested if it affects the nether in my realm.

Hey, thanks for your report! Could you try logging in without any mods and seeing if the issue persists?

Just logged on with no mods, F3 still says minecraft:nether_wastes (I’m in a soulsand valley)
