Bugged fertilizer placement

I was just filling up my planter boxes with fertilizer (bringing them up to 16, most had around 4-5 in them already) and got through 48 pineapple boxes and maybe like 15 corn and went to spawn to buy more fertilizer and when I came back, they were all back to where they were before I topped them off. As if I hadn’t already put anything in them. It didn’t go back to my inventory (which was full anyways as I’d just bought more) they just disappeared? I’m so confused lol but maybe a bug happened when I went to spawn and came back? That’s like a handful of stacks of fertilizer which is really expensive so I’m hoping I can either get some rubies back or fertilizer. Thanks for your help!
