Firework show not appearing

I'm DakotaPride (in-game username) and I wanted to watch the 17:00 show since I wouldn't be here to watch it at midnight my time. However, once the time hit 17:00, there were no fireworks shown or music being played. Are there settings that I need to have enabled clientside in order to see the show?
