Ghost blocks in old realm

I decided to join after a few years of leaving and now there are patches of empty blocks, presumably from an update but failed to place. They are empty patches of air that you can't place in, they only replace blocks that were already there, they can be removed by water flowing into the ghost patch. I might update this if I find anything else.
