Not a high priority bug fix, but since that structure was added, atleast to my knowledge this entire time, the spike traps on the left and right sides of the structure have never worked. Theyre suppose to go off to spear players who open them too upclose, but they have sofar never gone off for me. Rather than say scrapping that concept, as strange as it sounds to ask for, Id like to see that trap fixed so it works. Spike traps arnt super dangerous, but it's some added flavor to the build that I very much like.
Id also suggest covering the spike trap in a moss carpet instead of a block, since that block- if the spikes do go off, prevent players from actually being harmed by the trap. The carpet would be broken and could easily be stepped on and hide the trap, making it good for players who dont know what's in store.
I think an easy fix woud be to have a redstone dust under the chest to send a signal to the trap, but im unsure if that would work, as im not use to how trapped chests send a signal out.
