Swift Sneak/Depth Strider don't work

Hello, my nick is HallmannBR and I’m an OR og player (I started playing back in 2021), but just as of recently I started grinding for some proper gear. I was so happy to have all the major enchantments (such as protection, mending, umbreaking, …) but I still needed those life facilitators. Of course, I am talking about depth strider and swift sneak, since both actions related to them- swimming and crounching - are painfully slow without any help.
I grind for them. Grind for hours and hours. And then finally I apply them both to my armor pieces sucessfuly, but guess what? They don’t seem to be working on my player account. I drop the leggins to a friend, swift sneak makes his crouching faster. I drop my boots to him, depth strider improves his velocity under water.
In summary, I don’t know what is happening and what could be the cause of this problem.

By the way, I’m using sodium and that friend optifine (if this is of any relevance)
