Too much blue wool

So I was exploring a mineshaft when I noticed a wall of blue wool and when I started digging my way through I foud a structure completely buried in the wool

I guess there was a problem with the structure spawning with the wool instead of air, but i haven't seen any structure like this before, maybe is from the archeology update but im still curious.
