Warm biomes causing tadpoles to turn into incorrect color frog

I'm trying to make a froglight farm but some of the biomes dont seem to be functioning correctly.

Biomes I've tried:

OR Mangrove biome

= Green frog -> Should be White

Badlands, Jungle, Bamboo Jungle, Desert, and Savanna biomes

= Orange frog -> Should be white

I've also been speeding up the growth process with slimeballs if that could be causing it.

Am I doing something wrong?
