tool skins dont work on soul gear

hello, Piterthepupet510 here. recently I've been setting tool skins on my soul gear (bow and sword) and the textures don't work. The bow one is not that big deal because its only when its charging, but the sword is always. I don't have an idea how this could be fixed.
