Ability to grow old pre-rework trees (ex. spruce)

For some realms (like mine) i already have a ton of old spruce trees placed down and i like how they look, i wasn’t even aware there was a rework to those and i only found out the moment i wanted to plant some more; the diffrence is clashing and making it pretty much impossible to work on my realm wihout much pointless work on something that was easier before. I personally believe there should be a way to grow old-styled trees.
