Awareness and/or Prevention for Community Support

So this might be a hot take but it is suggested with the intent to help newer or less involved in discord members that may come into the Community Support chat for advice. In short I think we should at least have some sort of awareness on those who are still in the discord but are banned from the server itself. Be that an icon, tag, or w.e. And if not that despite it being transparent, maybe limit the Community Discord channel to not be able to be posted in by those who are banned from the server itself. I will attempt to explain my reasoning further below.

As is stands in the Community Support channel on discord anyone from the community can ask and try to answer questions/resolve issues for others. This is great and I love that we have this as a platform for doing so. However, we do have a lot of people who are banned from the server and not Discord who also seem to take it upon themselves to respond to others seeking assistance.

More than a handful of times I have seen some not so great “suggestions” or “advice” being made by some of these people who are banned from the server. Some in fact which I worry some of the more younger members or more impressionable ones will take as simply advice to try and see what happens. For those that read through posts on discord or even are just older/a little more experienced in taking advice with a grain of salt and thinking it through, this is not really as much of an issue I understand.

I do also understand that some might feel a certain way for the isolating of this channel or even the “ousting” of those who are banned from the server, but if a ban to the server has happened I would imagine it was done with thought for the community as a whole and not individual by individual. As the rules and guidelines for the community and server both are there to ensure the community is a fair, fun, safe, and helpful place for all. For me this suggestion is made in the same vein.
