Boat rubberbanding glitch

I know some people don’t have this issue, and others do, but for me (in 1.21.3), when pressing W, A, or D in a boat, it just rubberbands, displaying “Press SHIFT To Exit” above my hotbar. This issue does not arise when pressing S and is not caused by contact with blocks or by having cosmetics. (That’s all I know sorry)
