Changes to Events

In my opinion the best event the server has hosted was the 2024 Halloween event and going forward I think that would be a great format to model and expand from.

Things I enjoyed:

• The speed at which the pass was completable.

• The quality of rewards the pass provided.

• Rewarding exploration through event themed structures.

• Good community events with the skin contest and other player hosted events.

What I would like to see added:

• Diversifying ways to obtain EXP

  • Daily quests, fishing, killing the marauder, doing badger streaks, etc.

• Expanding exploration incentives

  • New unique cosmetics only obtainable through exploration.

• Assisting the community in creating great events.

  • Provide help to selected community members hosting events.

Obviously events are currently taking a break in favor of getting to modern Minecraft versions. But once the dev-time can be spent on events I feel these changes would be appreciated and incentivize player participation and foster stronger community.
