Chat/Social Rework - Feels like a Ghost town

I truly loved playing OR, though once they reworked the Chat and Spawn Realms.. It went from feeling like a thriving server that always had something to do, someone to help, and new friends to make… into what feels like a Ghost Town where I couldn’t tell if there was many people on, which made me feel aimless and ultimately, I kept leaving the server and not rejoining.

When playing I made friends who were committed players and big time spenders at the shop, and we’ve all taken breaks from the server, but all unanimously agree that the Chat and Spawn is one of the biggest reasons why we all struggle to return.

Chat Rework:

Easier Typing:

I like that there’s different sections to chat, but it can be a pain having to type /global /shout for anything you’d like to say. If its possible, I think it would be easier if you can toggle between chat channels FIRST, then once you’ve selected where you’re typing, can freely type without needing to add the command first.

Toggle On/Off whatever you want to see!

Also, I understand there’s people who don’t want to see ANY chat, and then there’s the social butterflies like me where I want to see EVERYTHING! So would could be a fix is if we had a more customizable chat menu, where you can pick which channels you do & do not see. I understand this may be impossible in which id absolutely understand, but if it could be toggled to anyone’s preference, then I think it wouldn’t need anymore rework since the people can work it themselves!

And for example, a vague look of what a menu can look like:

Ads: On/Off Shouts: On/Off

Global: On/Off System Notifications: On/Off

Local: On/Off Party/Friends: On/Off

Spawn Realms:

Currently, the only way to go between Spawn realms is if you have a friend in a different one, you can TP to them but you can’t go there on your own. Something I loved most about Spawn was going to the busy Clothing store to watch everyone see what kind of skins they got, but yes, it was absolutely laggy at times.
But, if we could have a menu where you can see ALL the spawn realms, and how many players are currently in each, it would help people pick which would suit their needs best!
Want a busy place to advertise the cool skin you just got? Pick the busiest one!
Want to go quietly buy from the store or quickly change your hat? Pick the one with only a few players!

For example, what the menu could look like:

Red Spawn - 12 Players Blue Spawn - 5 Players

Yellow Spawn - 27 Players Green Spawn - 33 Players

I truly love Origin Realms, its a unique server with a lot of great things going on within it and I would love to play more, but I’m just really missing the social aspect that made me such a consistent player to begin with. I’m not knowledgeable of what is or isn’t possible, but I think if these changes could be implemented, everyone could be satisfied!
