Configurable Linked Key (SHIFT + L)

Hi.

Have you ever wanted to quickly move through Open Worlds?

I understand you. Having to run some commands repeatedly may be a boring task. Luckily, I have the solution you need!

Linked Key

This is a new toggeable configuration, similar to a macro, that lets players have a linked quick action to SHIFT + L combination (by detecting if the player is sneaking when pressing L).

Players could link commands for these menus:

  • Immediately teleporting to a random open world.

  • Immediately teleporting to an specific open world.

  • Immediately teleporting to a realm.

  • Immediately teleporting to spawn.

  • Immediately teleporting to a spawn balloon.

  • Immediately opening the journal.

  • Immediately opening the auction house.

  • Immediately opening the badges menu.

  • Etc.

Example of usage

  • /link-key: Executes the command bound to the key.

  • /link-key spawn: Runs the command /spawn.

  • /link-key realm tp Levah: Runs the command /realm tp Levah.

  • /link-key ah: Runs the command /ah.

  • /link-key profile: Runs the command /profile. Very useful.

  • Etc.

Why adding this?

  • It’s a quality of life change.

  • Quicker navigation between open worlds.

  • Allowing users to have a command linked to a key for faster execution.

  • It’s also useful for the team to store commands they need.

Practical example

You have to move a lot of stuff from chests from one location to another. Each loaction, A and B, has a home set. users could link one of the locations, B for instance, by using /link-key home b, therefore having to type /home a once to then teleport back again to b with the shortcut, then executing the last command again.

Thank you for reading!

Consider upvoting this suggestion, so that it can be considered to being implemented in the future. It’s a detail that would be nice having.
