Difficulty options

It would be good if we could have like a difficulty menu, like how normal Minecraft has peaceful, easy, normal, hard and hardcore, I feel like something like that would make the game so much more interesting, for example peaceful (and to a lesser extent easy) mode would make it so less skilled or more relaxed players would be able to play and do more, whereas players who prefer a more difficult or combat based approach could play hard mode, or if they are less attached to their realm could play hardcore, it just makes a new realm, deletes your old one, resets your statistics, and maybe there could be exclusive items or mobs you can only get in certain difficulties, well and truly I just want to know what everyone thinks and such
