Alright, the current permission system right now is a little convenient and well put, there’s Member, Resident and Trusted, but they don’t always fit everyone’s needs, and obviously, adding a ton more of these permission ranks will only complexify and discourage more people, for that reason, I propose the idea of an “Advanced Permissions” button or tab that you can use on a gridded chart of toggleable checks and crosses or switches (like the /settings command) for what permission a specific player can have, or save presets of permissions if needed (although if this takes up too much database work, this obviously doesn’t need to be required), this way, there’s a little bit of every permission for all sorts of use case, for instance maybe you want to have someone able to place decor (which resident can’t do i believe, i’ve tried placing a marauder’s throne once in someone’s realm), or maybe you want someone to only be able to access your realm at all times (which both resident and trusted can do, but member can’t, although if this defeats the purpose of ELITE rank, that’s no problem if its excluded), or maybe you just want someone be able to open doors at all or just be able to take and put whats in and out of chests, or be able to release capture nets on a realm, overall, the advanced permissions would help more for more advanced and more diverse permission and trustful or privileged work overall, there should also be a disclaimer for dangerous permissions if needed, and if it takes a lot of database load maybe try caching/simplifying it to per player data. I’ll take constructive criticism if needed.
