Missing bees

Hi, me and my friend decided that today we were going to get some bees in order to get honeycomb (this is the same project from the discord post “How to get honey and honeycomb” in the support and questions tab. In order to find bees we went into a flower forest (with mooblooms) and attempted to locate as many beehives as possible collecting a total of 18. From these we were still without bees despite waiting until dark when bees are supposed to return to their hives, we watched two hives specifically to see if we could see any bees return with no luck and then started collecting all of them in the vicinity which all started stacking as we collected them with silktouch axes. When we placed them in my friends realm we still had no luck.
