Petition To block the Word Gambling

Feature RequestApr 28, 2025

Im considering taking a break until this is resolved, and I love running my Free Froglights for people. Until people stop using Gambling synonymously with the crate system, using it as a meme, shouting I love gambling, chanting they love gambling in RW chats, and even using it in advertisements. I Want to feel like i’m playing with respectable teens and adults, not like i’m a substitute english teacher- There is a missed community of older players who are unable to separate from the younger less experienced crowd when they need to. Sadly that answer is to play Other Servers during event season. You’re selling to children, I get that; But If they’re old enough to use Paypal, they’re old enough not talk about ALL sensitive topics

Crates and keys are are the “key” part of OR and is the most profitable mechanic on the server. When opening reworked crates - economy wise. If you get a cheap item you lose the crate’s monetary value ergo - gambling. Even larger with crate keys where you can either get more keys or items that worth nothing nowadays. I get where you are coming from, but you should just suggest making a setting or a command for filtering messages including some word.

Gambling is when a person bets or risks something of value (like money) based on a chance outcome that is out of their control or influence with the understanding that they will either gain increased value or lose their original value determined by the specific outcome.
