Pulling gestures from gestures menu doesnt deposit items into inventory

It appears that the gesture menu is currently broken when attempting to withdraw gestures. Shift clicking a gesture will pull it from the menu, but when leaving the menu those gestures will not appear in your inventory. Looking at /collect thinking it might appear there, also doesn’t appear. I am running game version 1.20.6.
