I’ve never seen a mod (besides Etched) that adds a lot of new music mechanics.

So that’s why I am here to suggest a music update that adds more instruments, reworks things like the jukebox, note block and maybe adds more music discs. A new musical crate can be added and it is a crate that when you open it, you can get many music instruments (furniture, gestures and cosmetics) like a trumpet cosmetic and many other cool things. In this update, there could be new redstone components, such as resistors, reflectors, etc. In addition, mirrors can be crafted with a new type of glass called the tempered glass, which can be made by smelting normal glass and then placing it in a cold biome for it to finally cool down, then take it with a silk touch tool of course and you can then craft mirrors.

    I don’t think they can have items with actual gameplay usage in crates, because then the server would be deemed p2w.

      You’re not wrong about this, but when I meant about adding instruments to the game, I didn’t want to say that they would be found in the musical crate. You will have to craft them with normal materials, just like the note block, jukebox, etc. However, the items in the musical crate would be ONLY furniture, cosmetics, gestures and maybe tool skins, but none of these things will have something that makes them different from the other crate items you receive. The items that you can get from the musical crate give no advantage, just like the other crate items.
