The Enchanter

With the advent of vanilla shaders, and the boss now done and multiple people strong beyond belief, I feel we need a natural way for enemies to be stronger against buffed players, while also not truly affecting gameplay for those still weak. the Solution:

The Enchanter. That Red Guy from dungeons. Yknow Him. Ya Hate Him. It's give and take Honestly.

Powers: The Enchanter "Enchants" (Purple glow shader on entities) Enemies, buffing them and making them stronger. When approached, they will smack the player away with their book, temporarily removed the enchanted effects from nearby hostiles.

Gameplay: The enchanter would have AI similar to that of the chillager, where they avoid the player, however instead, they would surround themselves or hide behind other mobs. The player is intended to focus on just killing usually. The enchanter however would entice the player to set battle priorities, in order to set the enemies back to normal and kill them. By standing behind the strong mobs, the player is also convinced to be more tactical, or get hit trying to get close the enchanter. Overall it would allow a small difficulty jump to old mobs, and allows stronger players some sense of challenge still in the overworld, without affecting new players.

Spawn: Enchanters spawn if a players arbitrary armor level is high enough (lets say Shadow or spirit gear and above). Once it's reached, when mobs spawn, an enchanter has a chance of spawning with the every time. Hence natural balancing.
