The Lucent (Original Mob Suggestion)

A small, platypus looking, bug animal that makes it's homes near crystal clusters and inside Geodes. You could shear it as a natural way of acquiring crystals passively, or make it follow you as it naturally emits light when sitting (unlike a certain squid). Fluffy tail that sticks up when they are sitting or find a new crystal cluster to rest at They eat Glow Lichen, and are shy creatures that stand near or try to locate crystal places.

They would come in multiple different colors, and if pushed by water would stand back up, stopping light production.
